Volunteering
Charlotte Motor Speedway
There are many ways you can volunteer as a parent of a fifth grade student. We will needs lots of chaperones for our field trip the Charlotte Motor Speedway in the spring. The more the merrier! You can read more about the STEM program we will participate in on our visit here:
Stem Program
Poe Health Center
This year the Poe Health Center staff will visit our school for an "In House" field trip. Students will be learning more about growth and development and health and fitness. No volunteers are needed as this experience will take place at school.
Supplies
We will need supplies all year. Your generous donations help keep the classroom running in top shape! One of our biggest needs will be prize box items (we call them lottery items). Once a month we have a lottery game in which students can buy prizes or play to win! Any dollar store treats such as small toys, special pens, etc. are appreciated.
At the end of the year we will need help with EOG snacks/ treats as well as graduation decorations.
Please check back here for more information during the year.
In order to participate in classroom trips you will need to register as a volunteer every year. Please click the link provided below to read more about this process. The earlier you complete this the better!
